Winter Magic

The Elvenar event, “Winter Magic” began on beta November 14, 2019 and will run until December 12, 2019.

It has now been announced it will run on live worlds from December 5, 2019 through January 2, 2020.

OVERVIEW OF EVENT

Dear Humans and Elves,

Another year has passed in the beautiful world of Elvenar. As you are preparing to celebrate the end of the year, we’ll be getting into the story of Elvenezer Scratch, who has made a fortune selling tasty Elvenade in his warehouse. But since his good and only friend Marlow passed away some years ago, Elvenezer has become even more greedy and resentful than he has ever been. As the winter season begins and the year turns to its end, Marlow’s ghost comes visiting him, giving him a warning. After that, three ghosts of winter appear.

EVENT DESIGN

Similar to recent events, Winter Magic has only one quest line:

The quests are offered randomly; different quests may appear in a different order for each player. There is no limit; they will continue to appear for the duration of the event. See more details here.

You can also collect additional Red Ribbons from around the city. Earn 1, 2, or 3 Red Ribbons for each one collected.

Red Ribbons can be found around your city in the same locations that Neighborly Help Reward Chests appear.

As with previous events, an offer is presented early on in the event to purchase a special building that will add 1 Red Ribbon for each time you collect one from around the city.

SPENDING Red Ribbons

Open a Present to receive the item inside and a Candy Hammer.

Use Candy Hammers to earn “Gingerbread Bricks” towards the Grand Prizes. 1 Candy Hammer can produce 1, 2, or 3 bricks. 20 Bricks complete the Gingerbread House graphic, awarding the next Grand Prize.

Once the ‘shuffle’ item is opened, the prize options are reshuffled and placed in new Presents.

*A game update has occurred since this recording; Presents now cost 50 and not 60 Ribbons to open, and some animations have changed.
