GOODS
These are the goods you’ll use the most of for catering in the Silk Tournament:

Planks

Silk

Gems
EXTRAS
If you have any Vallorian Guards from winning the Vallorian Valor in past events, this is a great province to use them!
Training
Train plenty of the following types of fighters to ensure you’ll have the best units to handle the Shady Characters found in the Silk provinces:
Elves
BEGINNER

Treant

Sword Dancer

Sorceress
Players in chapter 1 can train primarily Sword Dancers to use against any of the enemies, and train a few Archers for long-range shots against the Enchantress.
Once you have unlocked Treants, train mostly these and just a few Sword Dancers to use against the Enchantress. You’ll also want a few Sorceress to use in encounters against Enchantress and Steinlings.
INTERMEDIATE

Treant II

Cerberus II

Banshee
Continue to train mostly Treants. Instead of Sword Dancers, train just a few Cerberus to use in encounters featuring a majority of Enchantress and 1 or fewer Steinlings.
Train Banshee instead of Sorceress for encounters facing a majority of Steinlings and Enchantress.
ADVANCED

Elder Treant

Sinister Cerberus

Banshee II
Although the Orc Warrior specializes against Light Melee Units, we found that in this province, they only performed better than the Treants in encounters against Light Melee units exclusively.
The Treants performed much better in encounters featuring one or more Enchantress and Steinlings.
HUMANS
Train plenty of the following types of fighters to ensure you’ll have the best units to handle the Shady Characters found in the Silk provinces:
BEGINNER

Paladin

Axe Barbarian

Priest
Players in chapter 1 can train primarily Axe Barbarians to use against any of the enemies, and train a few Archers for long-range shots against the Enchantress.
Once you have unlocked Paladins, train mostly these and just a few Axe Barbarians to use against the Enchantress. Train some Priests to use in encounters against a majority of Enchantress and Steinlings.
INTERMEDIATE

Paladin II

Cerberus II

Priest II
Continue to train mostly Paladins and train just a few Cerberus instead of Axe Barbarians for encounters featuring mostly Enchantress and 1 or fewer Steinlings.
Train Priests II for encounters vs mostly Steinlings and Enchantress.
ADVANCED

Blessed Paladin

Sinister Cerberus

Sacred Priest
Although the Orc Warrior specializes against Light Melee Units, we found that in this province, they only performed better than the Paladins in encounters against Light Melee units exclusively. The Paladins performed much better in encounters featuring one or more Enchantress and Steinlings.
The Priest performed better than all 3 levels of the Banshees, even in encounters vs only Steinlings.
THE ENEMIES

Enchantress
Mage Unit
Moves: 4 Spaces
Attacks: 3 Spaces

Hellhound
Light Melee
Moves: 5-7 Spaces
Attacks: 1 Space

Cerberus
Light Melee
Moves: 5-7 Spaces
Attacks: 1 Space

Steinling
Heavy Ranged
Moves: 3 Spaces

TACTICS TO CONSIDER
In encounters featuring both Hellhounds and Cerberus, go after the Hellhounds First. Their attack power is the same but the Hellhounds defense is weaker.

Fights facing combinations of all 3 enemy types will be the most difficult.
We recommend these be catered or fought manually using a mix and match of your fighters according to the obstacles on the battlefield, especially after round 3 of the tournament.
AUTO-FIGHT
Most tournaments in the first few rounds can be won with auto-fight. This can be a great option for fighting novices to still be able to use a mix of resources (units and goods) so more tournament provinces and rounds can be won.
For many of the first rounds of fights, if you pick the right match ups, the fight is easy enough for auto-fight to do as good of a job as manual fighting would do for far less effort.
Of course, choose at your own risk. The more difficult the fight, and the more even the match-up, the more likely it is that you are nearly guaranteed to lose far more units with auto-fight than with manual fight.

MANUAL-FIGHT
Manual fight is recommended in most instances for fewer losses of units. Manual fight may or may not make a significant difference compared to auto-fight in the easiest battles (usually only the first round of the tournament for each province.)
Use Treants or Paladins
vs
Cerberus, Hellhounds, Steinlings and one or fewer Enchantress.
Take out the Enchantress first as they will do the most damage
to both of these units.

OR

Use Axe Barbarians, Sword Dancers or Cerberus
vs
Enchantresses, Cerberus, Hellhounds and one or fewer Steinlings

Use Priests, Sorceresses or Banshees
vs
Steinlings, Enchantresses and one or fewer Cerberus or Hellhounds

Use combinations of Paladins/Treants and Cerberus
vs
large combos of all 3 enemy types.
