Goods
These are the goods you’ll use the most when catering in the Crystal Tournament:

Marble

Crystal

Elixir
Extras
If you have any Vallorian Guards from winning the Vallorian Valor in past events, this is a great province to use them!
Training
Train plenty of the following types of fighters to ensure you’ll have the best units to handle the Shady Characters found in the Crystal provinces:
Elves
BEGINNER

Treant

Sorceress

Sword Dancer
Players in chapter 1 can train mostly Sword Dancers to use against any enemy, and train a few Archers for long-range shots against the Enchantress.
Once you have unlocked Treants and Sorceress, train more of these and just a few Sword Dancers to use against the Enchantress.
INTERMEDIATE

Treant II

Blossom Mage

Sword Acrobat
Train mostly Treant II, and train Blossom Mage instead of Sorceress. They will perform better in this province.
Train a few Sword Dancer II or III to use against the Enchantress as they will perform better than the Cerberus II in this province.
ADVANCED

Elder Treant

Banshee II

Sinister Cerberus
Although the Vallorian Guard specializes against Heavy Range Units, we found that in this province, only the Vallorian Guard III performed better than the Elder Treants. The Vallorian Guard II only performed better in encounters against Heavy Ranged units exclusively.
Train Banshee II instead of Blossom Mage, and Sinister Cerberus instead of Sword Acrobats.
LATE-GAME

Vallorian Champion

Ghastly Banshee

Ranger

Frog Prince
After unlocking the Vallorian Champion, train these instead of Elder Treants unless you have a training speed advantage for Elder Treants.
Ghastly Banshee technically performed better than Blossom Mage. Train Ghastly Banshee unless there is a significant training speed disadvantage to do so.
A few Rangers might come in handy for fights facing a majority of Enchantress. Avoid using them in fights facing more than 1 War Dog or Orc Deserter.
A few Frog Prince can be useful for fights facing a majority of War Dogs. Avoid using them in fights facing more than 1 Enchantress.
Humans
BEGINNER

Paladin

Priest

Axe Barbarian
Players in chapter 1 can train mostly Axe Barbarians to use against any enemy. Train a few Crossbowmen for long-range shots against the Enchantress.
Once you have unlocked Paladins and Priests, train more of these and just a few Axe Barbarians to use against the Enchantress.
INTERMEDIATE

Paladin II

Priest II

Storm Barbarian
Train mostly Paladin II, and some Priest II as they will perform better than the Banshee I in this province.
Train a few Storm Barbarians once unlocked to use against the Enchantress as they will perform better than the Cerberus II in this province.
ADVANCED

Blessed Paladin

Sacred Priest

Sinister Cerberus
Train Blessed Paladins until you have unlocked the Vallorian Champion. The Blessed Paladin performed much better than the Vallorian Guard I & II in this province.
Train Sacred Priest until you have unlocked the Ghastly Banshee as the Priest performed better than the Banshee II in this province.
Train a few Sinister Cerberus to use against the Enchantress.
LATE-GAME

Vallorian Champion

Sacred Priest

Ranger

Frog Prince
Vallorian Champion performed better than Blessed Paladin in this province. Train Vallorian Champions unless there is a significant training speed disadvantage to do so.
Train Sacred Priest to use in fights facing 1 or fewer War Dogs. Ghastly Banshee performed only slightly better; train these only they have equal or faster training speed compared to Priest.
A few Rangers might come in handy for fights facing a majority of Enchantress. Avoid using them in fights facing more than 1 War Dog or Orc Deserter.
A few Frog Prince can be useful for fights facing primarily War Dogs. Avoid these in fights facing more than 1 Enchantress.
THE ENEMIES

Enchantress
Mage Unit
Moves: 4 Spaces
Attacks: 3 Spaces

War Dog
Light Melee
Moves: 5-7 Spaces
Attacks: 1 Space

Orc Deserter
Heavy Range
Moves: 3 Spaces
Attacks: 3 Spaces

Faineant Frog
Heavy Range
Moves: 1 Space
Attacks: 8 Spaces
NOTE: After the first few provinces the Faineant Frogs are replaced by Cannoneers. Both units move 1 space and attack 8 spaces away.
Tactics To Consider
Eliminating the Enchantress should be your top priority. She can put a spell on your fighters that will reduce their defense by 40%, allowing her friends to hit your fighters 40% harder.
The War Dogs, Orc Deserters, and Cannoneers are no match for the Treants and Paladins, but with the help of the Enchantress’s spells, they will do a lot more damage.
Fights with large combinations of all 3 enemy types will be the most difficult.
We recommend these be catered or fought manually using a mix and match of your fighters according to the obstacles on the battlefield, especially after round 3 of the tournament.
AUTO-FIGHT
Most tournaments in the first few rounds can be won with auto-fight. This can be a great option for beginners to complete tournament provinces than can be done with goods alone.
For many of the first rounds of fights, if you pick the right units, the fight is easy enough for auto-fight to do as good of a job as manual fighting would do with far less effort.
Of course, choose at your own risk. The more difficult the fight, the more likely it is that you will lose more units with auto-fight than with manual fight.

MANUAL-FIGHT
Manual fight is recommended in most instances for fewer losses of units. Manual fight may or may not make a significant difference compared to auto-fight in the easiest battles (usually only the first round of the tournament for each province.)
Use Paladin or Treants
vs
Orc Deserters, War Dogs, Cannoneers and one or fewer Enchantress.
Take out the Enchantress first as they will do the most damage to either of these units.

OR

Use Priests, Sorceress, Blossom Mage or Banshee
vs
Enchantress, Cannoneers, Orc Deserters and one or fewer War Dogs

Use Axe Barbarians, Sword Dancers or Cerberus
vs
Enchantress, War Dogs and one or fewer Cannoneers or Orc Deserters.

Use combinations of Treants/Paladins/Vallorian Guards and Sorceress/Priests/Blossom Mage/Banshee
vs
large combos of all 3 enemy types.
