Gathering of the PHoenix

The Elvenar event, “Gathering of the Phoenix Cults” began on beta March 5, 2020 and will continue through March 29, 2020.

It has now been announced the event begins on all worlds March 23, 2020 and will continue through April 17, 2020.

Please keep in mind that there can always be differences in event layouts, balancing and prizes between Beta and Live release.

OVERVIEW OF EVENT

Dear Humans and Elves,

Eggs are crashing from the sky and the Acolytes pilgrim to your city, as every year during this season. The Phoenix Cult, which formed during the last few years has prepared again for the arrival of the Phoenixes that they worship as divine beings. They find themselves quite surprised when another Phoenix Cult arrives at your city’s gates, bringing with them their very own beliefs, art and culture. The arriving worshipers see Phoenixes as magical beings, not divine at all. They even build statues, create paintings and other forms of the Phoenixes and study them meticulously – of course not at all to the liking of the traditional Phoenix Cult.

During the upcoming weeks, both movements will engage in a fiery but fruitful debate on the nature of Phoenixes. Will you be able to help them maintain peace and gain more knowledge so that they can eventually emerge from the event as a more educated people that could learn from each other and coexist peacefully?

EVENT DESIGN

“Gathering of the Phoenix Cults” quest event has two quest lines:

The second quest giver offers the daily quest. One new quest is presented each day. There is no time limit to complete it, but you can’t get more than 1 new quest per day. Earn 35 Sky Essence for each one completed. See the full list here

You can also collect additional Sky Essence from around the city. You can earn 1, 2, or 3 additional Sky Essence for each one clicked.

Sky Essence can be found around your city in the same locations that Neighborly Help Reward Chests used to appear.

As with previous events, an offer is presented early on in the event to purchase a special building that will add 1 Sky Essence for each time you collect one from around the city.

SPENDING Sky ESSENCE

Spend Sky Essence by investing them into chests for a chance of one of several prizes, and to earn “Feathers” towards the grand prizes.

There are a total of 9 chests, and 3 are presented at a time. Each time you open a chest, they spin, and 3 new chests are presented.

There is no set order or pattern; the next chests will be selected randomly with each spin.
