Summer Mermaids

The Elvenar event, “Summer Mermaids” began on beta July 22nd, 2019 and will run until August 16th, 2019.

It has now been announced that it will begin on live worlds Monday, August 5th and will run until August 29th.

General Event Tips

OVERVIEW OF EVENT

Dear Humans and Elves,

Mermaids from near and far have heard of your deeds to restore their Queen’s memories. They have swum to your cities, bringing the nice, relaxed feeling of summer with them, as well as some other friendly creatures from under the sea. Can you help them set up the most awesome beach party Elvenar has ever seen?

EVENT DESIGN

Unlike previous large events, The Summer Mermaids has only one quest line:

The quests are offered randomly; different quests may appear in a different order for each player. There is no limit; they will continue to appear for the duration of the event. See more details here.

We can also collect additional Corals from around the city. We can earn 1, 2, or 3 additional Corals for each one we click.

Corals can be found around your city in the same locations that Neighborly Help Reward Chests appear.

As with previous events, an offer will likely be presented early on in the event to purchase a special building that will add 1 Coral for each time you collect one from around the city.

SPENDING Corals

Spend Corals by investing them into chests for a chance at one of several prizes, and to earn “Pearls” towards the grand prizes.

There are a total of 9 chests, and 3 are presented at a time. Each time a chest is opened, they spin, and 3 new chests are presented.

There is no set order or pattern; the next chests will be selected randomly with each spin.
