Returning this event, we have “Set Buildings.”

Set buildings are buildings which link together for a greater benefit.

With set buildings, only one building in the set needs a road connection; the rest only need to touch any of the rest of the set.

For this event, like the more recent previous events, all 3 of the Grand Prizes are set buildings.

New this event, there are actually two separate sets offered.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

With set buildings, only one needs to be connected to the Main Hall; the rest simply need to be connected together. Each unique building from the same set that makes contact with the building activates an additional link bonus.

Each building earns a link bonus independently of the rest; different buildings in the same set can have a different number of link bonuses activated depending on how many other buildings in the set each individual one makes contact with.

Sets cannot be mixed;
set buildings can only connect to other buildings
which are a part of the same set.

BONUS

The link bonuses stack; each bonus earned is given in addition to the previous.

Without duplicates of some of the daily exclusives, it will not be possible to get more than one of the set buildings in each set to the maximum number of link bonuses.

You can decide which building gets the maximum bonus by the way you choose to arrange the buildings.

Note a sample layout above (filling the gaps of course and moving the buildings closer together so they all touch.)

The layout above is an optimal layout with all 5 buildings, but not necessarily the only or the most optimal. With the layout shown above, the following link bonuses would be active:

Harvest Storage – 4
Cornucopia Sanctuary – 3
Moon Temple Complex – 3
Sun Temple Complex – 3
Temple Entrance – 3

Here is another sample layout for the 2nd set.

With the layout shown above, the following link bonuses would be active:

Krarak, Bird God of Sun Harvest – 2
Kirit, Weasel God of Night Fruit – 2
Shrine of Krarak – 2
Shrine of Kirit – 2

With a different layout, one of the buildings above could earn all 3 link bonuses. In order for more buildings to earn all bonuses, more than one of the daily exclusives must be obtained.
